As always, I'm never disappointed. The fish was fresh and seasoned very well. The Talipia 3 piece was enough for 2 of us to share, the pieces were huge. Prices were fare for what you got.
1st of all the man that takes your order is not friendly. He's dry & has no people skiĺl. The filet pieces are small. I spent $50 even on 10 piece filet & an order of hush puppies & 2 extra tartar sauce. That's too expensive. I was over charged. Please check your receipt b4 you leave & your order. I will find another place to go cause this was a rip off.
Just bought a 2 pc fish basket for 10 bucks and had to pill the shell open and get what little sway I could salvage. The fries were cold but the hush puppy fries were good. I don't know if Floyd knows how bad the service and food is but hurry up and make some corrections or close down.
I love Floyd's been eating here since I was 13 I'm 44 now fish always on point cakes always great nice proportion all the time you will get your money worth. Service always great even when their having a bad day always great service. I come from Irving to oakcliff just to get this fish and cake I love Floyd's

One of my favorite places to eat. And I work for a food broker and have seen a lot of kitchens. The service is fresh and fast. The customer service is 5 star plus and the food is out of this world. I wish I could prays them more. But let the food do the talking! : )
Best catfish you've never had. The tartar sauce is fire af. Legendary spot on the sunny south side...It's hood. So, they do them and take their time, but IT'S SO WORTH IT.
Low key catfish joint. Very clean. Catfish steaks! Very tasty. Oak Cliff. Been there for a long time. Catfish steaks are more flavorful than fillets. That's how we used to eat big catfish. Lots of flavor in the bones and fat. Catfish steaks are rare. The cole slaw was very good. Thing is, if you ain't into fish in a big way, then this place won't suit you.
Good down home southern cooking! Everything was just grea! We didn't wait too long. We stopped and got food before church, and took it home afterwards to eat and it was still warm. We went there For the first time today. We used the drive through option. The catfish was excellent, seasoned well and fried perfectly. The three piece meal included hush puppies, fries, tartar sauce and bread. The tartar sauce looked a little different but it was very good. The fries were good. I didn't try the hush puppies because I usually don't eat them but they looked good. Very reasonably priced and the service was fast and friendly.
